And today we're going to take a look at the CIPA Universal Dual-View Mirror for towing on our 2020 Mazda CX-5.So this towing mirror is going to be a great addition. Whenever you are hauling anything behind your vehicle or you want that extra security and view while you're driving, it will provide about an extra lane and a half field of view.So a couple of nice things about this towing mirror are the adjustable straps here that have multiple points on the ladder in order to get that nice snug fit with this CX-5 mirror. The bottom section here kind of is a little bit more on the narrow side with these straps. It fits very nicely and kind of conforms into that pocket on the bottom side of the mirror. more

So whenever you're towing a item behind your CX5, large or small, you can see you can still use your factory mirror here. And whenever you want that drastically changed field of view, we're going to go ahead and move and you can see that the towing mirror gives you that option. So looking at some of the features of the towing mirror here, you're going to see that it does have kind of a ladder pattern here on the rubber strap. more

K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors Installation - 2020 Mazda CX-5- Video

Andy here from etrailer.com and today we're going to take a look at the K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirror on our 2020 Mazda CX-5.So whether you're towing something behind your vehicle or you're driving on a busier highway where you want a little bit more view, these mirrors are going to give you a pretty expansive field of view added onto your stock mirror.So looking at some of the features, having the ratcheting knobs is nice, that way you can kind of get that custom fit and adjusting these rubber sleeves underneath gives you that extra padding and protection against the paint and finish on your stock and factory mirror.Another thing to look at too is, it still gives you a visual for that mirror turn signal, so other vehicles that are going to be around you will still be able to see that when you have your blinkers on.So to adjust the mirror here, you can see that it is very easy just to get the right adjustment made to wherever you need to see. Also, the clamps here that support on the top and the bottom of your factory mirror, extend a little bit more, that way it's going to be a solid fit. So with the clamps that are on the top and the bottom, you can still adjust the factory mirror with the automatic knob that's inside the vehicle.Now, overall, a couple of my final thoughts are going to be, if you are looking for a mirror that is going to help with some visibility, whether you're towing something, or you just want that extra coverage from lane to lane, this is going to be a great option. Although there is a little bit of a fit issue with the bottom of it here, being a little on the narrower side or smaller side, it kind of wants to tend to slide off just a little bit. But other than that, it is going to be a great option if you're just looking for a nice, easy way to get that extra visibility when you're driving.Okay, we're going to go ahead and install it on our mirror. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2016 Mazda CX-9- Video
Today on our 2016 Mazda CX9 we're going to be doing a test fit on the K Source Universal Clip On Towing Mirror. That's part number KS3891. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or camper. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. Now, if I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up. more

Today on our 2016 Mazda CX9 we're going to be doing a test fit on the CIPA Dual-View Clip-On Towing Mirror. That's part number 11953. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or camper. As you can see I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. Between both mirrors, the larger and the smaller one, you get the same view, just a closer more clearer view in the larger one. If I take a few steps in towards my trailers you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you'd get with just your factory mirror. more

Now, if I take a few steps in towards my trailers you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you'd get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees, so if you'd like to turn it to that horizontal position for a different view you have that option. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2015 Mazda CX-9- Video
Male: Today on our 2015 Mazda CX9 we'll be installing and taking a look at the K-Source Universal Towing Mirror, part number KS3891. As you see, our K-Source Towing Mirror here clips nicely around our factory mirror and it gives us an extended view for our trailer when going down the road. The nice thing about this is the universal fit, so if you're towing with more than 1 vehicle, you only need 1 towing mirror. It does come with 1, so you will have to buy 2 for the passenger and driver side. This is ideal for using it in towing situations, when you're backing a trailer up, and when you're making turns so you can see your trailer behind your vehicle. It is fully movable, so you can go ahead and adjust it to how you need it. The mirror here is on a ball joint, so you can take the mirror, rotate it sideways or up and down depending on what direction you need it. more
